See therein lies the folly; why spend all that time and effort to twerk up an engine when you can get a different car with 340 HP fresh out of the box? Besides, when they mod engines like that so much above what they deliver while stock it just shortens the engine life since it was never expected to produce those amounts of power. Like that old adage-"The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long". Kiss your warranty goodbye once ya start modding like that too.

Dude, have you lost your mind? The current M45 looks like the results after a Volvo S80 knocked up a Subaru Legacy sedan, and nothing at all like a car of that price range should look like at all. The first series M45 had subtle elegance and to me looks more modern than the current M45 which bears a more than passing resemblance to a Toyota Corolla that went on a chrome binge.

It does cost money to use that strip, why would someone go there just to "coast down the strip"? No straining? I'm fairly sure both cars were wide open throttle. I could be wrong. And by the way, it's not 120HP, but 240HP before any aftermarket work. It's all about weight vs. horsepower.

you guys are so funny.does it say anywhere the s2000 is a better car so why the need to defend the m45.if you didnt notice were that the track so thats how the race is run,not i bet if you were doing 55 it would be over for the s2000.

take that same race and do it from a rolling start and see what happens from a 55 roll i guarantee there will be no chance for that s2k one the big 3700-3800 pound family car gets moving then it will be gone |
